"The midfield were as confused as fuck with Mubama making runs across the oppositions back line and repositioning himself so he can attack the ball from the back post when it was out wide."
That made me laugh.

I was also up for him making 11 changes. Unfortunately he left Soucek in.
I can live with Downes playing boring football and keeping hold of the ball as that's his job. We seem to also insist on Soucek attempting the same, but failing and have turned Lanzini into the same too. Fornals produces very very little for someone who is supposed to be a bit of a flair player. Fornals is constantly 2 seconds too late for everything.
The midfield were as confused as fuck with Mubama making runs across the oppositions back line and repositioning himself so he can attack the ball from the back post when it was out wide. He was the only positive of the day.
The coaching at this club must be of absolute rock-bottom standard. We cannot break teams down at all. We still insist on side to side, get the ball wide then cross a ball in, barely ever resulting in a goal. Yet, when we do get a bit confused every 1 in 10 games and go down the middle, we tend to score. As long as the goalkepeer throws it in.
Moyes is a cunt. I am in a mood after the approach and tactics yesterday, but I am looking forward to going to Holland on Wednesday afternoon, although yesterday has put a bit of a dampener on it. Moyes has no fucking balls, the cunt.

I was fully behind Moyes putting out a second 11 and he did. Guess what? We lost. I can take that on the chin tbh. Let's now see what happens on Thursday. I don't appear to be as pessimistic as you lot as I think we'll get a result and go through. We'll win it if we play like we did against Man U.
As to the Brentford game itself, well they played like 11 strangers, which I guess they were. They should still be capable of actually passing a ball 5 yards, but. Still, when Moyes brought the 3 subs on at the hour, we looked much better. Should have had that goal, and who knows what might have happened after that. Brentford, sans Toney, looked OKish but I reckon our first team are winning that.
And a real positive was seeing the young lad Divin out there, putting himself about a bit.

i was sat just behind the dugout yesterday. Thomas Frank ( who i think is a bit of a cock) has a team of coaches , including a dead ball coach, who hes constantly interacting with, and do the same with the team. Moyes spent most of the game with his chin resting on his hands , arms crossed looking like he'd just drunk a cup of cat piss, with nolan occasaionally going to the fourth official and bleating about some wronged decsion
the club is miles behind where it needs to be and mOyes is the issue, along with everything above him- the players yesterday should have performed much better however from back to front, starting with another fabianski fumble, they either cant or dont want to play to a game plan against a team who are so predictable. Horrible football, and yes we now have 12 points we just give away before the season starts, brighton & brentford. What I do is win, hey ;-)

On one hand you can say this doesn't matter (unless you're one of the cranks who still think we might go down) but on the other hand no one wants to see their team play and lose like this, strolling around in the sunshine like it's a friendly game. Was also a depressing reminder of how crap some of our squad fillers are.
Fwiw, I stand by what I said before that he went overkill resting the whole team. Antonio, Pacqueta and Zouma were the only ones that really needed to be wrapped in cotton wool. At least Rice should have started to give us some energy and motivation, I'm quite sure he would have been totally rested and fired up by the time Thursday night comes around.
Moyes fucked this up.

Unfortunately I can't see anyway Moyes will be sacked if we win on Thursday
If we get dumped out on Thursday which I feel is unlikely then we will have a new manager next season.

It wasn’t the fact that Moyes played the reserves but the system he played proved that our squad struggle with it. Probably that’s why he can’t rotate the team. Moyes is tactically inept which was obvious from December last year. If he is not sacked at the end of the season Rice won’t be the only player looking to move.

Hope you are right Eerie but I’m not confident.
It’s going to be tough no matter how you try and downplay it.
You don’t beat Lazio home and away if you are mugs.
In terms of money and standard of league, Lazio should also be winning against AZ, same with Arsenal when losing to Sporting Lisbon a few weeks back, same with Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig losing to Rangers in last seasons Europa League and also Eintracht Frankfurt winning in the Nou Camp against Barca.
Just going off all those results It’s silly to think West Ham who have no history of having comfortable victories in any competitions at this stage will be any different.
It will be a very tough game.

In the Prem West Ham either get around 6/7 or fight relegation. However, if you’re in the prem you need to do several things,
Avoid relegation Win local Derbys Get into Europe Win it
We’ve never son it and are unlikely to do so
We’ve been in Europe the last two years
We’ve fought a relegation battle
We have one more opportunity to get into Europe, and win a cup

Swindon, they played a team 3rd bottom of the Dutch league. You could probably buy that entire club with 1 week of Danny Ings' wages.
We are going to beat them Thursday. They are not a particularly good team, unless the couple of players who were missing are outstanding, we SHOULD have nothing to worry about.
Zouma, Kehrer, Rice, Paqueta, Benrahma, Bowen, a team with those players in should not be getting beaten in a game of this magnitude by their mob.

Alkmaar were 5-0 nil up at half time in their league game tonight.
I think they started with their best players but were able to take some of them off at half time due to the score.
This isn’t going to end well on Thursday is it?!

The result today in isolation is not the problem, you plank. It's symptomatic of the last 18 months.
We massively overachieved in the league in 2006, and it was an FA Cup semi-final. We've massively underachieved this season, and we're in the semi-final of the St Johnstone Paint European trophy.
I obviously want us to win it, badly, but let's not pretend this situation is anything like 2006. This season has been a fucking abortion, and quite frankly, BANTZ aside, I expected much better from you after the constant, daily shit you gave Allardyce. 90% of this season has been as bad and non-football as anything that cunt served up, and he done it without the 3rd highest transfer spend on the PLANET, and chuck in he has called out the fans on numerous occasions.
You should be ashamed of yourself, son.

I don't like losing.
The only time the losing cloud had a sufficiently golden lining to almost compensate was in 1980, when our post-Cup Second Division match away to Sunderland had to be won or drawn for the sake of Chelsea's promotion...
Even then, ALMOST
